Grafton RDC Fills the Gap in Local Business Sale

The Kancamagus Lodge, in Lincoln New Hampshire, is now under new ownership after longtime proprietors sell to local business owners. After 20+ years, Leo and Nicole Marien have decided to sell the Kancamagus Lodge to Jesse Singh and Gurdeep Kaur. Jesse Singh and Gurdeep Kaur have owned and operated the Lincoln Gas Mart since 2014 and have owned 2 other successful stores in NH for the last 15+ year.

The official sale happened on December 5th. Jesse and Gurdeep will take over running the Lodge with their family and they plan to retain as many of the key employees as they can. This will ensure the smooth operation of the lodge throughout the busy winter season. The Kancamagus Lodge is located in Lincoln, NH, has 34 room, a full sized indoor pool and 2 onsite restaurants, Britney’s Mountain Side Food and CJ’s Penalty Box.

Funding for this sale was provided by Union Bank, with additional financing from Grafton Regional Development Corporation. Grafton RDC’s portion of the loan came from their revolving loan fund. This fund is dedicated to businesses and entrepreneurs in Grafton County that are relocating, opening or expanding their business and have the intention of retaining or creating new jobs.
